I started painting on my early retirement from being a hotelier/restaurateur in North Wales and York. I am self-taught with ever changing styles, described as sometimes loose, impressionistic, witty, whimsical in a simple almost naive perspective. I love colour and employ strong and warm tones in a simple almost childlike manner. I have exhibited at Oakham Museum and Victoria Hall Oakham, WVAS Stamford, and various locations and galleries in Rutland, Leics., Essex, London, Lincs., Wales, Devon, Cornwall and Yorkshire.
